Receive guests at Skardu International Airport and drive for 3-5 hours towards North, Khaplu and arrive in Machulo village for a magnificent Local Homestay experience.
The day starts with relax atmosphere after a delighted breakfast at Balti Local Homestay. Start the trek between the community villages and gradually ascending towards Camp 1. This camp called Khadi Broq and it gives a 3700m altitude and May-october 20 degree temperature at night while 20 plus during the normal day.
This day 4-6 hours trekking to reach Camp 2 and 2 hours to reach after setting camps at camp ii at 4700m elevation. The next 2 hours will lead you to K2 viewpoint Machulo La where you meet the sky and having a bird eye view of the entire region of Karakorum in a glance. Return to Camp ii.
Descend to Machulo in 4-6 hours and drive for 4 hours to Skardu. End of the trek.
