Itinerary
Arrive at Islamabad International Airport and meet your guide. Transfer to hotel. Islamabad city tour if flight timings allow. Overnight stay at Grace Boutique Hotel, Islamabad.
Breakfast at the hotel then checkout and transfer to the airport. Fly to Skardu on one of the most scenic domestic flights in the world. On arrival, drive to Khaplu — a lush and historic valley in Ghanche District. Check in and settle in. Overnight stay at Serena Khaplu Palace.
Breakfast at the hotel. Drive by 4x4 Jeep to Kanday Village, approximately 2 to 3 hours. From Kanday, begin the trek towards Mingulo Broq — a moderate hike of approximately 3 to 4 hours through green pastures surrounded by towering granite spires. Camp setup in the meadow. Dinner and overnight camping.
Breakfast at camp. Trek deeper into Nangma Valley, approximately 4 to 5 hours, arriving at Amin Brakk Basecamp. The valley opens dramatically here with stunning views of Amin Brakk (5,850m) and the surrounding rock towers that have attracted climbers and photographers from around the world. Free time for photography and exploration. Overnight camping at Nangma Valley.
Breakfast at camp. A rest and exploration day in the valley. Short hikes to viewpoints above camp, glacial streams and the rock formations that make Nangma one of the most famous climbing destinations in Asia. Optional hike towards the Nangma Glacier moraine for those wanting more ground to cover. Overnight camping.
Breakfast at camp. Trek back to Kanday Village and transfer by 4x4 Jeep towards Hushe Valley, the gateway to Masherbrum. Arrive in Hushe and check in to the guesthouse. Overnight stay in Hushe.
Breakfast at camp. Begin the approach to Masherbrum (7,822m) along the Hushe Valley trail. The route climbs steadily towards the high camps below the peak. Overnight in tents at Domsum or Burmbruma camp.
Breakfast at camp. Continue up to Masherbrum Basecamp with close-up views of one of the most technically demanding and beautiful peaks in the Karakoram. Trek back to Burmbruma campsite. Overnight in tents.
Breakfast at camp. Descend to Hushe Valley and transfer by Jeep to Skardu. Arrive in Skardu and check in. Overnight stay at Zhule by Roomy, Skardu.
Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to Skardu Airport for the return domestic flight to Islamabad. On arrival, transfer to hotel with free time to explore the city. Overnight stay at Grace Boutique Hotel, Islamabad.

The trek starts and ends in Islamabad. Book both arrival and departure flights from Islamabad International Airport (ISB). The domestic Islamabad to Skardu flight is included in the package.
This is rated medium difficulty. The daily trekking distances are manageable but the terrain is rocky and uneven and several camps are above 4,000m. Prior trekking experience at altitude is recommended. The Masherbrum Basecamp approach involves two consecutive days of ascending terrain.
Yes. Comprehensive travel insurance with coverage for high-altitude trekking and helicopter evacuation is mandatory. Helicopter rescue in the Hushe and Nangma area is extremely expensive and is not covered by the operator.
Sleeping tents, mattresses, mess tent, kitchen tent, kitchen equipment, crockery and cutlery are all provided. You need to bring your own sleeping bag, personal clothing and a daypack.
All meals are included during trekking days. During hotel stays in Islamabad and Skardu, breakfast only is included. Lunch and dinner at hotels are at your own expense.
A porter facility of 12.5kg per person is included for the trekking section. All camping gear, food and community equipment is carried separately by the support team. Your personal daypack is carried by you.

- This is a medium-difficulty trekking itinerary. Good physical fitness and prior trekking required.
- The Skardu flight is weather-dependent and subject to cancellation.
- All camping meals provided during trekking days. Hotel stays include breakfast only.
- Porter service of 12.5kg per person included. Personal daypacks carried by trekker.
- Mobile network unavailable beyond Khaplu. Carry fully charged power bank.
- Weather June through September can include afternoon rain and sudden temperature drops.
- Nangma Valley is serious mountaineering area. Respect ongoing expeditions.
- Helicopter rescue in this region is very expensive. Comprehensive travel insurance mandatory.
- This trek operates June through September only due to snow conditions on approach routes.
