A short but spectacular mountain hike in the Hushe Valley, designed to bring you close to panoramic views of K2 and other Karakoram giants without a long, multi‑day expedition.

Yes. Even though it's a one-day trek, the altitude (often above ~3,000 m at Hushe and higher toward Hombroq) requires that you acclimatise in Skardu or Hushe first to reduce altitude sickness risk.

From Hombroq you can see K2 (8,611 m) and other giants like Cigerate Peak, and on clear days broad Karakoram panoramas.

Late spring to early autumn (May to September) is ideal — the weather is more stable and snow conditions are manageable. Winter is not recommended due to deep snow and harsh conditions.
