Itinerary
Welcome to the city of light..! Arrival at the Karachi airport, we receive you and transfer you to the hotel. Don't worry, we will be there before your flight land to Karachi, and remain throughout your Cultural Tour of Pakistan. Begin with a visit to the National Museum, showcasing remarkable artifacts from the Indus Valley and Gandhara civilizations. Continue to Makli and Thatta, where vast archaeological monuments reflect Sindh's cultural evolution from the 14th to 18th centuries.
Drive to Sukkur After arriving in Sukkur, we travel to Mohenjo-daro, one of the oldest and best-preserved cities of the Indus Valley Civilization. This 5,000-year-old site features the Great Bath, Granary, and other monumental structures, followed by a visit to the Moenjodaro Museum before returning to Sukkur.
Our journey continues through Sukkur toward Bhong and Bahawalpur, once ruled by the Abbasi Nawabs. Bahawalpur offers rich attractions, including Noor Mahal, Darbar Mahal, Derawar Fort, Lal Suhanra National Park, and the historic Abbasi Jamia Masjid.
We travel along the Chenab River to Multan, the "City of Saints," a major cultural center of Punjab. Renowned for its Sufi shrines and rich heritage, Multan is also famous for Sohan Halwa, Multani embroidery, and distinctive lampshades.
Our journey continues from Multan to Harappa, a major center of the Indus Valley Civilization. Alongside Mohenjo-daro, Harappa represents early urban life, renowned for its advanced craftsmanship in sculpture, seals, jewelry, and terracotta.
Our journey concludes in Lahore, the capital of Punjab and Pakistan's second-largest city. A cultural hub, Lahore is known for the Walled City, Badshahi and Wazir Khan Mosques, Sikh shrines, Lollywood, Qawwali music, and the renowned Lahore Museum with its world-class Gandhara and Sikh collections.
We depart Lahore for Rohtas Fort, a 16th-century fortress near Jhelum. A UNESCO-listed site, it blends Pashtun and Hindu architecture; after lunch at the fort, we continue to Rawalpindi.
After a night in Rawalpindi, we head to Taxila, an important archaeological site in Punjab, known for ancient settlements and Buddhist monuments like Dharmarajika Stupa and Jaulian Monastery. Taxila Museum showcases extensive Gandharan art. In the evening, we visit Islamabad's iconic Faisal Mosque and stay overnight in the city.
Our journey concludes at Takht-i-Bahi, the "Throne of the Water Spring," an ancient Indo-Parthian Buddhist monastery in Mardan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. A UNESCO World Heritage site since 1980, it is one of the best-preserved and most impressive remnants of Gandharan Buddhism.
Let's have a taste of Peshawar city food, fantastic view, and warm, welcoming, beautiful people's hospitality.
