Short stops at Chilas, the Three Mountain Junction viewpoint (confluence of Karakoram, Hindu Kush and Himalayas), and Rakaposhi View Point. Arrive in Hunza by late evening, check in and overnight stay. Estimated travel time: 11–13 hours.
Breakfast at the hotel. Full day exploring Central Hunza — visit Altit Fort, Royal Garden and Baltit Fort. Stroll through Karimabad Bazaar and sample local Hunzai food and dried fruits. Optional visit to Café De Hunza. History enthusiasts can visit Ganesh Old Settlement. Overnight stay in Hunza.

Continue to the Hussaini or Rainbow Suspension Bridge, Passu Cones viewpoint and Sost. Return to Hunza, check in and overnight stay. Note: a late departure will result in missed destinations.
Breakfast at the hotel. Drive to Naltar Valley (approximately 2.5 hours). Transfer to a 4x4 (1990–92 model) Prado at Nomal for the 40-minute off-road drive into the valley. Spend leisure time at the famous coloured lakes — Blue Lake, Satrangi Lake — and keep an eye out for snow leopards in the area. Return to Nomal by late afternoon and continue to Gilgit. Check in and overnight stay.

Helpful answers
The drive from Islamabad to Hunza takes 11–13 hours in one go, which is exhausting and unsafe to do in a single stretch. Breaking it up with a Besham overnight on both legs makes the journey far more comfortable.
