Itinerary
Depart Lahore at 9:00 PM from Thokar Niaz Baig Daewoo Terminal, travelling overnight towards Islamabad.
Pick up Rawalpindi participants at 4:00 AM from 26 Number Daewoo Terminal near NUST EME. Drive north via the Hazara Expressway and Karakoram Highway, with breakfast at Besham and short stops at Dassu and the Basha Dam viewpoint. Arrive in Chilas by night and check in to the hotel.
Drive towards Hunza with a stop at the Nanga Parbat viewpoint and the mountain junction. Transfer to jeeps at Nomal and head into Naltar Valley — visiting Blue Lake, Satrangi Lake, and the Naltar forest as far as accessible. Return to Nomal and continue to Hunza for the night.
Drive through the Attabad Tunnels and spend time at Attabad Lake. Continue to the Hussaini suspension bridge and Passu Cones viewpoint. Lunch at Gircha before heading north to Sost and onward to Khunjerab National Park and the China border at Khunjerab Pass (4,693m). Return to Hunza for a BBQ and bonfire musical night.
Visit Altit Fort in the morning, then a short stop at the Rakaposhi viewpoint before beginning the return journey south. Drive back towards Chilas with stops along the way, arriving by night.
Early morning departure from Chilas. Breakfast on the way. Arrive in Islamabad by approximately 6:00 PM for drop-off. Continue to Lahore, arriving around midnight.
