Itinerary
Arrive at Islamabad International Airport and meet your guide. Transfer to hotel and freshen up. Visit Monal Peersuhawa in the evening for a bird's-eye view over Islamabad. Overnight stay at Grace Boutique Hotel, Islamabad.
Breakfast at 8:00 AM and checkout. Head north through the Kaghan Valley with sightseeing stops along the way as the landscape opens into alpine scenery. Arrive in Naran and check in. Overnight stay at Northern Retreat Hotel, Naran.
Breakfast at 7:00 AM and checkout. Depart for Raikot Bridge via Babusar Pass, passing through Batakundi, Besal and the pass itself with its sweeping panoramic views. Lunch stop on the way. Arrive at Raikot Bridge and transfer to 4x4 Willy Jeeps for Tattu Village. Lunch in Tattu and then begin the uphill hike through pine forests to Fairy Meadows. Arrive and settle in. Overnight stay in huts at Raikot Sarai, Fairy Meadows.
Breakfast at 7:00 AM and set off for Nanga Parbat Base Camp. The trail climbs steadily with dramatic views opening up as you gain altitude. Arrive at Beyal Camp for a tea break with the full face of Nanga Parbat visible ahead. Continue to Nanga Parbat Base Camp for those going all the way. Retrace steps back to Fairy Meadows in the afternoon. Overnight stay in huts at Raikot Sarai, Fairy Meadows.
Breakfast at 8:00 AM. Leave Fairy Meadows and descend to Tattu Village, then jeep out to Raikot Bridge. Continue south along the Karakoram Highway with stops at the Three Mountain Ranges convergence point and the Rakaposhi Viewpoint. Drive to Minapin in Nagar Valley and check in. Overnight stay at Ohothong Guest House, Minapin, Nagar.
Breakfast at 7:00 AM and depart for the trek to Rakaposhi Basecamp. The trail climbs through pastures and rocky terrain above Minapin Village. Arrive at Tagafari campsite, situated directly in front of the 7,788m Rakaposhi and the neighbouring Diran Peak. One of the most dramatic camping positions in the Karakoram. Overnight stay at Tagafari campsite.
Breakfast at 8:00 AM at camp. Retrace steps down to Minapin Village and enjoy lunch there after the descent. Depart for Hunza and arrive in the afternoon. Free time to explore Hunza Bazaar in the evening. Overnight stay at Eagles Nest Hotel, Hunza.
Breakfast at 9:00 AM. Guided tours of Altit Fort and Baltit Fort covering their history and cultural significance. Visit Karimabad Bazaar for shopping and lunch. Explore Attabad Lake with a boat ride across its turquoise waters. Depart for Chilas in the evening. Overnight stay at Shangrila Indus View Hotel, Chilas.
Breakfast at 8:00 AM and depart for Islamabad via the Babusar Pass route. Stops at Babusar Top, Lulusar Lake, Besal and Jalkhad on the descent through the Kaghan Valley. Lunch stop in Naran. Continue to Islamabad and transfer to hotel. Overnight stay at Grace Boutique Hotel, Islamabad.
Breakfast at 8:00 AM. Transfer to Islamabad International Airport as per flight timing. Tour ends.

The tour starts and ends in Islamabad. Book both your arrival and departure flights from Islamabad International Airport (ISB).
Both treks are moderately challenging. The Nanga Parbat Base Camp trek on Day 4 is a full day of hiking at altitude above 3,500m. The Rakaposhi Basecamp trek on Day 6 climbs steeply from Minapin Village. Prior trekking experience and good fitness are required for both.
Fairy Meadows accommodation is in basic twin-bedroom wooden huts at Raikot Sarai. There is no electricity or en-suite bathroom. Rakaposhi Basecamp accommodation is a tent at the Tagafari campsite. Temperatures at night can be very cold — bring warm layers and a sleeping bag.
Breakfast and dinner are included daily throughout the tour. Lunch is not included on any day. Your guide will recommend the best local options at each stop.
No. This tour runs June through September only, as both the Fairy Meadows and Rakaposhi Basecamp routes require snow-free trail conditions. Babusar Pass is also seasonal and may close outside this window.
