Itinerary
Pickup from Islamabad airport and transfer to the hotel. If time allows, explore the twin cities of Islamabad & Rawalpindi. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Breakfast at the hotel. Drive to Islamabad International Airport for a scenic 45-minute flight to Skardu. On arrival, visit Upper and Lower Kachura. Lunch followed by a visit to Katpana Desert. Dinner and overnight stay in Skardu.
Breakfast at the hotel. Drive to Hussain Abad and embark on a 3-hour trek to Marsur Rock View Point. Return trek to Skardu. Visit Manthal Buddha and Sadpara Lake. Dinner and overnight stay in Skardu.
Breakfast at the hotel. Soft trek to Kharpocho Fort; guided visit and trek back to the roadside. Drive to the Sarfaranga Cold Desert and explore the unique landscape. Visit Shigar Valley for lunch, then drive to Blind Lake. Return to Skardu for dinner and an overnight stay.
Breakfast at the hotel. Drive to Hunza via the Skardu-Jaglot road. Stop en route to view the convergence of three great mountain ranges: Karakoram, Himalaya & Hindukush. Lunch at Gilgit, followed by stops at Old Silk Road viewpoint and Rakaposhi viewpoint. Arrive in Hunza Valley for dinner and overnight stay.
Breakfast at the hotel. Soft hike to the 700-year-old Baltit Fort with a guided tour. Visit the 1000-year-old Altit Fort and enjoy lunch at Khabasi Café (run entirely by women). Drive to Duiker for a panoramic view of Hunza & Nagar Valley, Golden Peak, Rusk Lake, and Rakaposhi. Return to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
Breakfast at the hotel. Visit Hoper Glacier and enjoy the scenic beauty. Lunch at Hoper, then drive to Gojal Valley to explore Attabad Lake, Hussaini Suspension Bridge, and Borith Lake. Return drive to Gilgit for dinner and overnight stay.

Yes, you'll need a visa. Depending on your nationality, you can get it on arrival or apply online before your trip. You can also go to your local Pakistani embassy for a tourist visa. E-visas can be up to 3 months (extendable to 6 months), while visas on arrival are valid for 30 days.
Wear light, loose clothes in hot areas like shirt and trousers. For cold places, bring warm clothes like jacket and layers. When visiting mosques, cover your head, arms, legs, and shoulders. Dress modestly and avoid shorts. If unsure, dress conservatively.
June-September: Monsoon season with unpredictable rains, over 45°C. October/November: Post-monsoon with decreasing temperatures. December-February: Winter with pleasant 20°C days and colder nights. March-May: Hot and dry season with mid-30s°C temperatures.
