What happens after you book

From confirmation to your trip day, here is what to expect after completing your booking.

Once your payment goes through, everything is set up automatically. Here is what happens next.

Instant confirmation

Your booking is confirmed the moment your payment is successful. You do not need to wait for confirmation from the supplier. A confirmation email is sent to you right away with all the details of your booking.

Your booking PDF

You will receive a booking PDF that acts as your official confirmation and service agreement. This is an important document that captures everything about your booking at the time it was made.

For tours and treks, the PDF includes the full itinerary with a day-by-day breakdown, what is included and excluded, highlights, important information, and any add-ons you selected. For car and bike rentals, it includes the vehicle details, rental period, what's included, and whether you chose self-drive or with a driver. For rooms, it includes your check-in and check-out dates, room details, and any breakfast or meal inclusions.

Every PDF also includes the complete pricing breakdown and your booking ID.

You can download the PDF anytime from your booking page. We recommend saving it on your phone so you have it handy on the day of your trip.

Chat with your supplier

Once your booking is confirmed, you can message your supplier directly through Kipgo. Use this to ask questions about the trip, share dietary preferences, confirm pickup times, coordinate meeting points, or discuss anything else you need before your trip.

You will find the conversation in your messages section. Suppliers are usually quick to respond and happy to help you prepare.

Your booking page

You can view all the details of your booking anytime by visiting your bookings section. This page shows your booking status, dates, guest count, pricing, and a link to download your PDF. If you booked with split payments, your full payment schedule is also shown here with the date, amount, and status of each installment.

Cancellations

Plans change, and we understand that. You can cancel your booking from the booking page.

The refund you receive is based on the cancellation policy that was in place when you made the booking. This means if the supplier updates their policy after your booking, your original terms still apply.

For tours and treks, different cancellation policies offer different refund tiers depending on how far in advance you cancel. For example, a moderate policy might give you a full refund if you cancel 14 or more days before the trip, a partial refund between 4 and 13 days, and no refund after that. You can check the exact policy on the listing page before you book.

For listing types like cars, bikes, and rooms, there is a fixed cancellation deadline. You can cancel with a full refund before the deadline, but cancellation is not available after it passes.

Before cancelling, you can check exactly how much refund you are eligible for from your booking page. Once you confirm the cancellation, the supplier is notified, any remaining split payment installments are cancelled, and your refund (if applicable) is processed to your original payment method within 5 to 10 business days.

On the day

Make sure to have your booking PDF ready. Arrive at the meeting point or pickup location at the time specified in your booking. If you are unsure about any details, message your supplier through the chat beforehand.
